Corn Chops

Too bored staying alone, all I have is cooking to pass my time!! Its really frustrating, when you have all the time in the world for yourself. You need sometime free and sometime busy to keep the balance I guess. So todays home alone was spent by trying out corn chops.

Ingredients
Onion - 1
Sweet Corn - 1 cup
Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Crushed Black Peppercorn - 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves - a handful
Bread Crumbs - 1/2 cup
Cheese Cubes - 3
Corn Flour - 3 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

Method
Pulse sweet corn once/twice and keep it aside.
Heat oil, add onions, ginger garlic paste and saute till golden brown. Add sweet corn, turmeric powder, crushed pepper and mix well. Turn off heat, add finely chopped coriander leaves and mix well.
Mix corn flour, red chilli powder, pinch of salt with very little water and make a thick paste.
Take a portion of the corn mixture and keep a small cube of cheese in the center and cover it completely forming an oval shape.
Dip it in the corn flour paste and roll over bread crumbs and deep fry.  Serve hot with tomato ketchup and mint chutney.

Bon Appetit!!
