We got this pack full of cleaned jackfruit, and wondering what to do. They werent much sweet as we would have expected them to be, and this idea dawned on me to prepare this yummy payasam for neivedhyam. Its traditionally a kerala speciality!!!
Ingredients
Jack fruit pieces - 10
Jaggery - 1/2 cup
Milk - 1 cup
Method
Grind jack fruit pieces into a fine paste. Heat jaggery with very little water and remove the impurities.
Boil milk, add jaggery and jack fruit paste and mix well.
Garnish with cardamom powder, ghee fried cashews and raisins.

This is one interesting recipe.:-) Do we require a ripe jackfruit for this?Asking since here in Delhi we usually get the raw one with white flesh that we use for cooking.
