Cheesy Carrot Kati Roll

Kati rolls are yummy on-the-go snacks. We had planned a movie nite at home, and needed something easy to munch on, rather than a fussy plate. So I prepared the stuffing and the rolls ahead of time and microwaved them!!!

Ingredients
For the chapathi
Wheat Flour - 1 cup
All Purpose Flour - 1/4 cup
Milk - 1/4 cup
Salt to taste
For the filling
Carrot - 1
Onion - 1
Tomato - 1
Cheese Slices - 4
Chilli Powder - 1 tsp
Dhaniya Powder - 1 tsp
Cumin Powder - 1 tsp
Garam Masala - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking

Method
Chop carrot into thing slices and cook in boiling water for 10 minutes.
Heat oil, saute onions till brown. Add tomatoes and cooked carrots and mix well.
Add chilli powder, dhaniya powder, cumin powder, garam masala and salt and mix well. Once cooked switch off heat and keep it aside.
Mix all the ingredients for the chapathi and knead into a smooth and soft dough. Make small balls of it and roll into flat chapathis.
Cook the chapathis, add a slice of cheese and the carrot stuffing in the center, and roll. Serve hot.

Im sending this to Jaya's Back to Basics hosted by PJ
Bon Appetit!!
