Vermicelli Arrabiata

I dunno why, but my husband suggested he wanted vermicelli with arrabiata sauce and I said why not!! An upma with an Italian twist!!

Vermicelli - 1 cup
Tomato - 3
Garlic - 3 cloves
Red Chilli - 2
Black Pepper - 1 tsp
Parsley - 1 tbsp
Basil - 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Olive Oil - 3 tbsp

Heat oil, add onion and minced garlic and saute till golden brown.
Add finely chopped tomatoes (alternatively, grind to a puree) crushed red pepper, salt and black pepper.
Simmer and cook for 20 minutes, add some water if necessary. Add parsley, basil and your arrabiata sauce is ready.
Boil water and cook vermicelli, add the arrabiata sauce, mix well and serve hot!!

Im sending this to Srav's Whats for Friday Dinner?

Bon Appetit!!
