Uppu Seedai

Small salty cracker balls. You definitely cant stop with one. Very dangerous to make. They burst with hot oil or so they say. All recipes have a secret. And the secret for the uppu seedais to not burst is to having clean cumin seeds.
Rice Flour - 2 cups
Urad Dal Flour - 3 tbsp
Cumin Seeds - 2 tsp
Butter - 2 tbsp
Coconut - a little
Salt to taste
Water for kneading
Oil for deep frying

Dry roast rice flour and remove from heat before its color changes or you start seeing changes. (If you take the flour in hand and try to draw a line it should be perfect for rangoli)
Mix all the ingredients and add little amounts of water to make a smooth dough.
Make small round balls and deep fry them. Donot keep trying to get the shape. Leave them airy.
