Avaraikkai is one of my favorites. Be it poricha kootu, thengai curry, I just love avaraikkai.
Ingredients
Broad Beans - 500 gms
Grated Coconut - 1 cup
Red Chilies - 2-3
Mustard Seeds - 1/4 tbsp
Urad Dal - 1/4 tbsp
Chana Dal - 1/4 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking
Method
Cook finely chopped broad beans in boiled water. Keep it aside.
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds, once it splutters add urad dal and chana dal.
Add the cooked broad beans and salt.
After 3-4 minutes add coconut and mix well. Yummy Avaraikkai is ready!!
