Shankarpalli

Simple fried sweet biscuits. Every diwali my mom used to prepare these to add it to the mixture. I prefer them as such, coz its not too sweet and very crispy!! Moreover its rare to find sweets that are crispy.....;)

Ingredients
All Purpose Flour - 2 cup
Sugar - 1 1/4 cup
Salt - a pinch
Oil for deep frying

Method
Knead all purpose flour, sugar and salt together into a smooth fine dough.
Pinch small balls of the dough, and roll into flat chapathis.
Cut into shapes as desired and deep fry. Drain excess oil and serve with coffee/tea.
