Spinach Fettuccine with Alfredo Sauce

I never thought I will try home made pastas. But all of a sudden I was feeling why not!! Googled recipes for pastas, made some tweaks and got this yummy spinach fettuccine with alfredo sauce.

Ingredients
For the pasta
All Purpose Flour - 1 cup
Spinach - a bunch
Butter - 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Cold Water for the dough
For the alfredo
Buttter - 3 tbsp
Cream - 1 cup
Nutmeg - a pinch
Ground Pepper
Salt to taste

Method
Blanch spinach and grind it to a paste in a mixie.
Seive flour; mix with salt, butter, spinach paste and knead into a smooth dough. Add water if needed.
Roll the dough like a thin chapathi. Use flour if the dough is sticky. Let it rest for half an hour.
Slice into small strips like a fettuccine using a pastry wheel or knife. Spread out and dry for 2-4 hours.
Cook the pasta in boiling water for 2-3 minutes, till it rises to the top. Keep it aside.
Heat butter and cream in a pan for 5 minutes. Add grated cheese, salt, pepper and stir well.
Toss the pasta and mix well. Serve hot!

Bon Appetit!!
