Chickpea Sundal

Day 2 of Navaratri and its a thursday. Sundals are a must for navaratri. So prepared this yummy Kondakadalai Sundal for today's neivedhyam.

Chickpea - 1 cup
Grated Coconut - 1/2 cup
Mustard Seeds - 1 tsp
Urad Dal - 1 tsp
Chana Dal - 1 tsp
Curry Leaves - a little
Green Chili - 2
Asafoetida - a pinch
Salt to taste
Oil for cooking

Soak Chickpeas overnight and pressure cook till soft and mushy when pinched.
Heat oil, add mustard seeds and once it splutters; add all the other ingredients and saute on high flame for 3-4 minutes.
Serve hot!!
