Chutney's and Sambar though lovely combinations for idli's and dosa's, milagai podi is an awesome combination with idli's. My husband loves idli's soaked with milagai podi and sprinkled with sugar on the top. My MIL and husband even prefer it with chapathis. It has a very unique taste ranging from sweet to hot. This is my MIL's version of milagai podi.
