Me and hubby both have a sweet tooth!! My MIL had prepared these sweet coconut barfi and sent it thru a friend to us.
Ingredients
Grated Coconut - 1 cup
Sugar - 1 cup
Ghee - 3 tbsp
Cardamom Powder - 1 tsp
Method
Dissolve sugar in water to one thread consistency.
Add grated coconut and keep stirring. Add ghee, cardamom powder and stir well.
When its a frothy mass switch off heat. Grease a plate with ghee and pour the mixture on it.
Lay it out evenly and when its a little warm make pieces and let it cool.
